I am on a Teacher's Retreat. I was talking with a teacher there about Battle Discs when she brought up an old game I used to play. It helped me start to discover the different types of discs. I still need to tighten it up some, but it breathed new life into it.

I started / continued "Better Future", a Story Maker story. Story Maker & Reader are programs I wrote and keep upgrading. They can be as simple as a regular story to a choose your own adventure story to a simplistic game if you want. It has no graphical capability yet, but it is part of the dream. I need to put this story up somewhere. I need to post Story Reader too. Maybe Maker.

Anyway, I'm up to 180+ pages in the story.

Huzzah! I found my verse for the story of Fuego. Deuteronomy 33:26 (NIV) "There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his magesty." If you take the last two parts together, you could take it as God is the Great Kahuna of cloud riding.

Also, I read my Lower Division Adventure to my students. Well, three of them anyway. They had mixed opinions at first, but by the end they were rivited. Rumor has it that I'm going to read part of it for the rest of the class tomorrow. And it's possible that next year, I'll have LDA #2.

I decided to use my limited creativity to try to write a story involving my Lower Division students as characters in a little adventure. I want to try to finish it before school lets out on June 12. As you can see I don't have much time. If I get it done on time, maybe I'll post it.

I decided to table the Mermaids idea for Dream Club to Book 2. The idea is too complicated to introduce 5 main characters and 5 book characters. I'm working on an idea for Book 1.

I woke up with a character named Amy. She needs a personality and alot of work. I also figured that Chris's deceased dad should have been a police officer. That way the police men would listen to him and give him help.
