Guess What. I Don't Like Bill Clinton, Either.

Got some e-mail from a Limbot who thinks just because I'm in favor of freedom for everyone, not just those who are white, anglo-saxon, and protestant, that I must be a (shudder, gasp) Clinton supporter. This is my reply. I'm surprised he didn't use the word socialist. :-) I could have told him that I must be the only Socialist in America looking for venture capital funding for a company in progress... new Internet-based tech.

While he reminds me of the people of the Middle Ages who asked,"Are you of God or the Devil?" because they could ONLY recognize these two religious positions, not having a clue that there might be a third...

Presented for your entertainment...

I just put a new item on it today.

If you think I'm a friend of Bill Clinton's, you must have been on the
wrong site, or basing your complaint on my posts of several years ago.

Ever heard of the "Communications Decency Act", "Secure Networks Act"
(anti-encryption) That's not all... but that's what most people will
recognize first.

The only good thing about Clinton is that he can't be re-elected... and
unless Gore has something on the order of a religious conversion that'll
get him on the right side of Net related issues, I won't be supporting
him, either.

In fairness, the bills quoted above have bi-partisan congressional
support among 'tards of both parties, which constitute a majority. (the
vote on CDA was ... 16 against. Get the picture?) Clinton signed CDA...
(good thing the Supremes were on their job for a change) and anti-crypto
is his administration's policy.

Personally, I don't give a shit about WHO elected officials screw unless
it happens to be their constituents. OK, if you've got one of Bill with
a sheep, send it down...

>But its the self admitted liberal press that is

WHAT liberal press? The ONLY press in this country that's to the
political left of Rush Limbaugh today is the "alternative" press (try
the San Francisco Bay Guardian for an
example) and the Washington Post. (unless somebody bought it) The rest
of the media is owned by people well to YOUR political right.

This isn't immediately recognizable for two reasons:

1) The owners have so much money that their priorities are rather
different from Limbaugh's, their agenda is more about keeping control of
the masses. From their point of view, that's US... and from that
viewpoint, there's not a whole lot of difference between us. Why do you
think there's a NRA site link on my home page?

2) If they don't allow their hirelings (that's editor-in-chief on down)
to print SOME of the real news, the truth will get out via the
Internet... and the credibility of the media drops another notch. This
has already happened on a number of occasions.

I shared your delusion once... luckily, back in the BBS days a news pro
who happened to moderate one of the conferences I used set me straight.

>passing off the most damaging and dishonest disinformation to the public,
>and I'm afraid you reek of it, while hiding behind The Big Brother monster
>that you wish was able to be blamed on republicans.

It would be convenient... it would be convenient to be able to blame
this on EITHER political party. Then, we online could all work to make
sure the bad guys cease to exist as a political party.

>The democrats have

"The Clinton Administration has the worst record on civil liberties..."
now if I could only source that quote...

>A good site otherwise, but if you insist

I'm to your political left. My site is going to reflect that. So get the
information you consider useful off it, that's what it's there for. I
also recommend to you some of the news
links off my site, starting with the Disinformation site. You get
points for knowing that the mass media isn't telling you what is going
on. The next step is ... to find out that neither is Rush.

>your as big an idiot as the politicians your trying to stop. By the
>way, Monica,Paula, and Gennifer, say hello and

Do they? You have their e-mail addresses? They're cute... tell them to
say hello themselves.

>Vince says he is waiting for you.

If you'd like to talk to him more easily, the file attachment is a Ouija
Board program... it's in DOS. If you are as computer-literate as you are
politically aware, get back to me and I'll tell you how to get to the
DOS prompt. Good luck in running it... while it is virus-free, run a
scanner program on it anyway, just like you should any other download.

>See you in Democrat Hell. ( The Rush
>Room)

I rather doubt it. However, thanks for playing. A copy of this letter is
going on my site... to correct the delusions of anyone else who mistakes
me for a FOB. (Friend of Bill) The nice thing about having a Web site is
not to have to say things a second time.
